St. Agnes School is currently enrolling students in the Preschool, Pre-K and Extended Learning Programs for the 2011/12 school year.
Preschool will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Classes will begin at 8:00 am and dismiss at 11:00 am. Children must be 3 years old by August 1st of the year they are enrolling.
Creative Curriculum for Preschool and Pre-K will help assist your child's teacher with developmentally appropriate activities along with overall progress and assessment. Your child's teacher will also use Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines for Ages 3-5 to properly address the seven domains of development and Learning. The Early Childhood programs will follow the St. Agnes School Calendar.
Pre-K will meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings only. Classes will begin at 8:00 am and dismiss at 11:45 am. Pre-K has an option of full day program through the Extended Learning Program. Children must be 4 years old by August 1st of the year that they are enrolling.
Extended Learning Program
The goal of Extended Learning is to provide an extension of Pre-K and Kindergarten combined through large and small groups, art, science, and food activities, games, early reading readiness, and pre-writing skills.
Children in Pre-K will have an option of 3 afternoons (MWF) per week. Children in Kindergarten will have an option of 5 afternoons per week. Children will have lunch at 11:45 am. They can take advantage of the school lunch program for $2.40/day or they can bring a sack lunch,.
St. Agnes School also offers an after school program "The After 3 Club" which is available to any children needing care after school. It runs from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm.
