CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK 2007
Catholic Schools Week got off to a great start when our Diocesan Superintendent of School, Father Tom Ryan, paid us a visit early Monday morning. He was here for our kick-off and thanks to Father Don, even had a pair of "crazy socks" on! He spent time visiting the classrooms and meeting our teachers and students. Thanks for coming Father Tom!

Everyone who donates is given a bracelet that has a religious saying on it. They are very colorful and they serve as a reminder of our call to help others!

Thursday was National Freedom Day. We all wore Red, White, and Blue and gathered around the flag pole to raise the flag given to us by the National Guard 734th Transportation Battalion. It was flown in Iraq for our school in thanks for the support that we have shown them. We remembered them and their service to our country as we raised the flag and said the Pledge of Allegiance. We also celebrated our freedom to choose a Catholic School and so we will continue to keep them (and many others) in our daily prayers!
